it's a casual sim/strategy game where you can conquer other civs or do some diplomacy run. it can be played solo so you can save and exit out at anytime but it's just addicting to do 1 more thing because you only need 1 more turn to finish a building but then you get addicted to just go 1 more turn.

Halo is literally the worst exclusive Xbox has.
Hifi rush, pentiment, grounded, gears 5, Forza horizon are all fantastic games to name but a few.

I haven’t finished them but loved what I played I’ve been thinking about buying a ps5 (really want a pc but am unable to build one right now) I just hate spending that much money for another console just to play a few games

Anyone here playing Marauders probably knows a thing or two about losing stuff to game crashes

Probably because Microsoft is first and foremost a PC company, and not a primarily game developer/publisher focus.

If the project hadn't changed leads and direction so many times during development so they didn't have to actually create the entire game in 18 months, or been given an additional 2 years to really flesh out the future content, would've been great!

Oh, absolutely. Animal Crossing: New Horizons sort of spits in the face of the Switch's reputation as a "family" or "party" console.

Still remember the first one. Good days.

Reply to According to Skill-Up's interview of Naoki Yoshida (Final Fantasy 14 and 16), the term "JRPG" was actually viewed as a derision in the Japanese game development space: by Gorotheninja
In the west it was never a negative term. It also dates back to the early 90’s. It was a category of games, and if you liked RPGs it was the best category of the genre.
That said, in the late PS3 days it did become somewhat synonymous with cheap anime crap game on the PSN marketplace. But broadly speaking it was still a positive term.

Reply to comment by gothpunkboy89 in Should I buy a ps5 today or wait for the slim version if there will even be one? Thanks by [deleted]
I'd anyone actually asking for that? What percentage of people would be willing to drop another huge chunk of money to upgrade their console they just got in the last 2 years? What would they even charge for it if the base console is still $550? Seems incredibly unlikely.

I know you don't like them but I was in a similar spot where I hated dark souls and it just wasnt fun, then the combat just clicked out of nowhere, but I find figuring out and learning boss patterns fun, which isnt everyones cup of tea

It wasn't my favorite game I played even that week, but it's not horrible.
We don't need to limit games to the ridiculous "good/bad" dichotomy, there are many layers.
Its definitely average, but horrible? No. Its even done what a lot of devs have been unable to do recently and release a game that actually runs on every platform, including PC - at launch.
