My lips are sealed on that. When i played season 4 it was while it was being released. That was a story in and of itself. Made the conclusion take on new dimensions. Some helluva story. Btw, season 3 starts off seemingly unrelated and not as good as you'll be used to by then. Stick with it. Worth it.

Then you are not only dumb but willfully ignorant, which is even worse. Console games were 60 dollars and more over 20 years ago - which is over 120 dollars today when adjusted for inflation. Games are much cheaper than they used to be and companies are having record profits. Higher production cost are more than offset by higher selling unit numbers. If you try to deny this you are absolutely delusional

I'd replace really with often: There are times where I couldn't give a crap about DLC, but there are others - I'm looking at you Paradox - where I'm affronted at the total cost of acquiring licenses and know full well I'm missing out on necessary game features without at least some of the DLC.

Thankfully they've introduced a subscription plan, so I can chuck them five bucks for the month I actually play something like EU4; Now if only they'd do it with Stellaris, as there's no way I'm buying $200+ worth of DLC for it when I know I'll stop playing the game after a month or two and not likely revisit it for a year or more.

Yeah, but I also think the one island per Switch being an issue is merely a symptom of the much bigger problems with New Horizons being such a flat and lifeless game with nothing to do outside of customization, so only having one island that allows only one person to really customize it pretty much cuts other players on that console off from 90% of the experience

Everquest 2 and Star Wars Galaxies. They were built up to be the next big MMOs and they both were extremely disappointing.

EQ2 should have just been EQ with better graphics, but they tried to kill solo play and then went completely south after the first expansion dropped.

SWG was too unbalanced and then they completely ruined the game trying to balance it later.
