You can't put a price tag on playtime or enjoyment. If you do that, i still own Blizzard thousands of dollars, because i played Diablo 2 for 3 years everyday as a teen.

Elden Ring is kind of the worst Soulslike that I’ve personally played. I really enjoyed Bloodborne and Sekiro. Elden Ring doesn’t feel as solidly constructed, mostly due to the open world

Wow that looks really good. I beat R&C 3 and Deadlocked so many times as a kid, brings back memories for sure.

I would start with a good story game like What Remains of Edith Finch, Fire Watch or To The Moon.

Unpacking is good, but my partner found it dull (I liked it).

If she wants a bit more action, something like Uncharted or Guardians of the Galaxy would be good, still with a decent story.

Days Gone. I was pretty over the zombie scene but 2 friends both completed it and swore it wasn't a generic zombie game. They couldn't be more right. The story was compelling, the visuals were great, and it had a great pacing. It was really well put together and I'm sad it most likely won't get a sequel. It really deserves one.
