This has technically been a thing for years. MMOs requiring monthly payments to play after purchasing the game have been and are still standard.

Dave Mirra's bmx 2. I don't know, but I seem to be the only one that preferred this to Tony hawk. The later was great don't get me wrong but loved the former. Hell failing some or the tricks was as rewarding as landing them. No handed superman to flailing carcass Slim Jim. Good times🤣

Yes and no.

I think with Game Pass and PS Now, we won’t be paying for single games for much longer. I think this’ll result in games being significantly shorter and more basic on release as they’ll not be getting as much money. They’ll then overcharge for DLC

Playing the Gunner class was extremely disappointing. It started off so awesome, and then the mech just becomes one giant target that can't see shit when you're affected by an element, which late game is freaking always. Went from a fun powerup to just a shield regen ability.

Anime typically makes terrible video games, or at the least underwhelming ones, if there’s any games out there that let you play as an alchemist with game-breaking powers you’re going to find them in the RPG/fantasy section, most likely.

The only person who should decide what you like is you? I do miss the days of Electronic Playground and real journalism showing game footage and doing reviews. But like you said, I can just YouTube footage now.
