This makes sense. The later chapters of the game really, really drag on, they're pretty much pointless. And many people purchase games on sales and then don't finish them. It's a pretty interesting phenomenon. When people get something for free or cheaper they value it way less and are likely to use or experience that thing at a much lesser extent. Most people on Steam probably got the game in a huge sale. As such, they don't value it as much and don't finish it.

PS2, GameCube, Wii Era.

Gaming had much less bullshit attached to it. I can easily put in hours into old games. They feel more focused, more fun, more complete, more passionate and creative.

Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Sonic Riders, Sly, Ratchet and Clank, SSX Tricky, SSX, SSX3, Freakstyle, 1080 Avalanche, Downhill Domination, IGPX, Crazy Taxi, Smash Brothers, And many others.

Racing games had way more variety back then. Not just copy and paste generic car racing games these days.

Fighting games did way more to set themselves apart.

Even shooters had more creativity.

Everything was just better creatively and more entertaining.

Yeah I started halo when I was 6-7 20 years ago with combat evolved. Been hooked ever since, would have 8 of us in a house passing controllers left an right. So fun, pretty much no lifed it up to reach. I’m actually currently doing all the campaign again on legendary, currently on odst.

My personal favorite is halo 2 campaign, but halo 3 is by far the best game in the series. Not even close, reach after 3. Thing is you can play mcc online but it’s not halo 3 online. Halo 3 online was just a different animal, all the custom stupid matches everyone invented. Downloading maps people uploaded an playing stupid games like duck hunt an shit, it’s how infection started an became and actual game mode.

Honestly i dont think so, im having a blast with the game. Ofc thats highly subjective but i enjoy the gameplay a lot, especially the combat, but i also like the puzzles and jump'n'runs. The game looks visually really good and i love the artstyle too. The story is meh to okay-ish to be honest and i genuinely believe that a serious instead of a humorous tone would have been much better. Also the protagonist should shut the fuck up from time to time, perhaps a silent protagonist would have been a better choice here. Idk, i think a lotta people just judge this game by clips alone but so far i think the game is fairly good with a lot of wasted potential. Just my subjective take.
