Cinematic mode, my friend. Just set your waypoint, start galloping down the trail, and turn on cinematic mode. Watch the scenery as you smoke out. I loved all the horse rides, lol.

Auto riding does exist. If you set a marker it will ride on the pathways until you arrive lol

If you hunted and did side quests, you find more than enough money to get the best guns and upgrade your camp to the finest.

I loved the world idea and immersion. You could gamble and drink. Rob stage coaches. Take people hostage. Collected loans. Great cowboy game.

Forspoken has been getting hate because of an unlikable and annoying protagonist, bad dialogue, bland quests, and mostly empty world.That being said, the gameplay and battle system are excellent with good boss fights.

Callisto Protocol was very short in terms of overall play, so it didn't have time to really flush the story or characters out. The gameplay is great though with interesting mechanics.

What really brought hate however, was the PC release that launched the same day as consoles and had a lot of bugs that made it unplayable. But that always happens because it takes time to tweak console games to run smoothly on PC. Their fault for jumping the gun and not delaying it's release on that platform.

Most of em tbh. I’m not a contrarian by any means, I just dislike the majority of game trends/mechanics. Main thing I hate is everything being a sandbox RPG-lite. I really miss 8-10 hour games.

More games sure, but games at RDR2s quality are rare on PC. I would argue, by the time RDR2 came out, PlayStation had more modern games (in the last 5 years) close to RDR2s level of quality than Steam had.
