This sucks especially hard on Steam deck because it's a piece of proprietary steam hardware and half of all launchers out there don't just work on download. So games like Jedi Fallen Order that were one of the games heavily used in the marketing of the Steam Deck now aren't compatible out of the box anymore due to EA Play.

I wasn't a fan of the difficulty scaling. Bosses were too easy, killed them all on the first time fighting them. Mini-bosses can be bullshit. Had one spawn in a tiny room that would constantly spawn rings of energy where there was basically no where in the room you could stand and not take dmg.

I highly doubt it. Especially because if you went on forums around the time of Code Veronica, even though it is highly regarded now and has aged like wine, people were sick of tank controls and a fixed camera. Code Veronica wasn't as well received as it could have been because it was a tired gameplay system and people were over it. That's why when 4 came out it was fresh and what everyone had been wanting; and Capcom hasn't looked back since.

I love to play it coop. My main problem with it is that the loot is kinda basic and a low amount of it. I wish it had more interesting things. Love the setting and the gameplay but I think the loot hurts the game. Also the low amount of weapons.

Why? Because gamers won't fight back against this crap.

Yeah, get all pissy because I called you out, but prove me wrong.

Want them to change this bullshit? Perhaps stop buying the games forcing a new launcher on you.

How many times do I have to post it? Hit THEIR wallet, not empty yours.

I really liked it, then got on a several hour run where I got towards the end of the game before dying, and never want to touch it again. There just isn't enough progression between deaths imo.

If it had similar mechanics without being a Roguelike I think I would have liked it a lot more.

HONESTLY. When I first played the game, I actually gave up on it for a while because of the fifth biome. Interestingly enough though, When I came back eventually, I got through it on like my second try. Thankfully the devs knew not to put a boss in that biome

I don't even think it's that niche. Returnal sold more than 500,000 units despite launching as a PS5 exclusive at a time when it was impossible to buy PS5s. It's not Elden Ring or COD of course, but more than half a million units without being backwards compatible is definitely nothing to sneeze at.
