I always enjoyed WWF attitude on PS1. Had super customization for it's time with arenas, entrances, characters, moveset, etc

WWE 2k13 and 14 are great too. Probably the last time they were really great. Could add custom music to entrances with the 360. Removed that feature after that era

Hollow knight if metroidvania is your thing. Also a.masterpiece and the most consistent complaint people have is they feel like they should have payed more for the game.

Grounded if you, like myself, wondered if you could survive a Honey I Shrunk the Kids type situation... and like crafting survival games.

Project zomboid is always a good choice. As is any souls game. Or sekiro. Or bloodborne.

Def Jam Vendetta and Def Jam Fight for New York were both fond memories of mine.

I'm in a similar boat as yourself but ahead by about 6 months or so. I picked up wwe 2k22 looking for a classic wcw vs nwo revenge or a wwf no mercy and was actually pretty disappointed. I can see how some would love the game but if you're looking for a retro feel. That just wasn't it for me.

New Vegas' story is better, 4 is still good though and 4s gameplay mechanics are FAR superior to NV. I would suggest Fallout 4 just because it feels more up to par with more recent games but you can't go wrong with either, honestly.

This game and Stargate SG-1 made me fall in love with the P90! I finally got to shoot one recently and I'd say it lived up to the hype.

Nope they all blend together when trying to remember.

You either go somewhere and talk/escort some npc’s. Maybe do a unique mini game, or you go somewhere and shoot people.

If it’s a robbery missions like a bank or train, it’s much more scripted and it’s only difficult if you don’t follow the intended script

Here Comes the Pain is one I highly reccomend.
