It's a licensed super hero game selling for full price using battle passes and looter shooter mechanics so they can extend grinding time of the playerbase in the hopes that they buy the battle pass. While at the same time nuking single player, which the studio is known for.

You raised a very great perspective on the current state of gaming in turns of how people are acting. I don't complain about games I don't play. I do share what I think could make the genre of games I play better. There's a lot that needs to change in terms of content games have at the price we are paying. Like $69.99 but the game can't play at 4K 60FPS or it has tons of bugs and lack of game modes. That's a big issue that needs to be fixed. I want us all to have great quality no matter what type of game we play.

If you had fun with Stardew Valley and want to play a similar game but with survival mechanics and in-depth crafting/sandboxing take a look at Core Keeper on Steam. It has a friendly communtiy with active developers as well, can't get much better in todays day and age
