They Are Billions if the campaign didn't have the stupid "building crawl" and "blob defense" missions. The RTS missions are top-notch, but the rest is just hot garbage

They’ve all recently been consolidated into a single game, so you get all three games in one purchase.

Start with a few extra controllers for the inevitable Ezio suicides, but definitely AC2 trilogy.

Play AC1 afterwards, the next two assassins creed after 2 are better if you know what happens in 1.

It might be worth reading a synopsis of the AC1 plot to understand what is happening with the modern day storyline at the start of 2, but I wouldn’t play it first. AC1 is a fun game in its own way but it has a lot of weird repetitiveness in the way missions need to be completed that was streamlined in later games. Personally I played AC: Black Flag first as It was the newest when I started playing, then went back and started the series in order with AC1 and it was pretty jarring.

Just watch a couple youtube vids about hitman lore and play the >2010 games. Don't bother with assassin's creed.

I’ve only played Black Flag, and honestly it just feels like worse Shadow of Mordor. Still, it’s on every platform, even Switch and is pretty cheap (it was < 20 when I got it), and from what I can tell, the newer games have moved towards RPG mechanics over assassinations, so 4 is a good a start as any

So I might be remembering wrong but you can basically get all the Hitman games remastered if you buy the third game and buy the other ones as DLC

I’ve played the first few AC’s. Found them somewhat repetitive until the pirate one (black flag?)

You can get a 1 month trial of game pass for pc for a $1 and play hi fi rush, and then I'd spend the money primarily on dead space for ps5 to enjoy its remake, as I saw you've already played the original. That's my suggestion at least
