The real ending was a fucking DLC, they choped the ending, and put it separately on a DLC.

the camera and the platforming was not very thought out. and i believe warp gummi blocks were a final mix feature in the original you had to physically fly between every world. correct me if i am wrong there.

Halo is good. Halo 3 maybe best of the series. Still halo 3 is not more impactful or important than bioshock or crysis

This isn't really about best games of that year, but how they stand out.
If crysis isn't a landmark I don't really know what is. It is the swan song of pc gaming, as in the era they developped popular titles for the pc first. Games like doom, quake and halflife.
It was an amazing swan song in that regard though, since it couldn't run on the x360 and ps3, which were built to compete with pc gaming. It also couldn't run on most pc's, well not very good anyway.
Bioshock is in there mainly for the art direction.
Halo is in there btw , just not halo 3.

ESO taking the best/rare items from a chest or crafting node and leaving the rest. If you take everything, the chest or node will respawn in a few minutes. If you leave something, it will remain until the undesirable items are taken by the next person. It's considered rude.

There was nothing to fix though. The game was fun and fine the way it was. Now they are reverting and reducing customization options for players that enjoyed the game and actually stuck with it.

Are you kidding? It’s one of the most successful Wii games of all time! Certainly a hit when it came out in 2010.

In any game with a 6v6 single elimination type game mode, if someone on the other team rage quits (now 6v5) one person from the advantaged team should hang back to avoid unfairly ganking the other team. This becomes more and more important as teams get smaller (3v3, 2v2).

Amazing game. Loved the fact that you couldn't die, and the fights felt so fluid.

I would die a happy man. As someone else mentioned, this met with a lukewarn response. People weren't still over The Sands of Time trilogy so a reboot rubbed them the wrong way. It's a real fucking shame cause PoP 2008 turned into a true gem that stood the test of time.
A few years later Ubi went back and decided to continue PoP with Forgotten Sands that seemed to directly follow after the first Sands of Time game in an alternate universe type of way. That one tanked pretty bad too...

It isn't exactly a platformer, more metroidvania, but if you generally can't understand 2d games, then it's fine.

It's really not. You could cut crysis and bioshock and nothing would be lost.
