It would depend on the gameplay and how much $ per character. Let's say I wanna pay for a character to keep for $5, I guess I could see myself or others paying for it, but again it would have to really have some fucking banger gameplay to keep me drawn in.

I’d say Dark Souls 3 is a good middle ground for all the games.

If you’re on PS5 you can download Bloodborne for free with a ps plus subscription. That’s also a decent one to start with.

Or you could just wait for Elden Ring to go on sale and pick that up.

This isn't really about best games or how good games are but more how they stand out from a technological point of view and create new standards, or just stand out for whatever reason.

I'm not going to debate god of war isn't a great game, and I have doubted many times to put it in there. But apart from being a great game I can't really see a reason for it, and to put all great games in there for 45 years, I would need a lot more room.

I can feel the passion from your words haha. i knew the game and i was interested in it but saw that the anime might adapt the whole plot so i'm waiting for it to finish, yeah yeah gonna take a long time that only if it DOES adapt the whole thing, well i have FGO that I want to play so I have some things in my hand regarding gacha games

GoW is designed in such a way that you can exclusively do the story and you don't have to interact with the rest of the world as there's always a yigdrasil gate next to the end of a mission allowing you to go straight to the next one
