Grownups play video games. My BIL is in his 50's and still plays video games and tabletop. He's an incredibly responsible, intelligent, and productive individual. Some people may find they like games less and less as they age, but that's just personal preference. I think the gaming community as a whole is really over the "games are for children" narrative.

I'm going through this a bit myself right now. Just sounds a little like burnout. You can get burned out even on something you love. Maybe taking a break and investing in another hobby for a bit would be a good idea. I have no doubt you'll find your love for gaming again. But right now trying to force yourself to enjoy it isn't going to make your relationship with it better--might even have the opposite effect. Take some time and come back for a game that looks interesting or exciting when you feel like you're ready to dive back in.

Diablo has some older novels that aren’t really tied to the game itself but flesh out the background and lore of Diablo. The first 3 or 4 are standalone and then there is a series of 3 novels. All of them are pretty good in my opinion.

My rarest achievement is a 0.01% from Friday the 13th: The Game for playing 500 matches as Jason Voorhees.

I have 💯 Demon's Souls (PS3), Dark Souls (Xbox 360), Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (Xbox One), Dark Souls III (PS4 & Xbox One), Bloodborne (PS4), Dark Souls Remastered (Xbox One), & Elden Ring (Xbox Series S, twice), but they are not that rare to be completed, as fans of them tend to enjoy them enough to finish them fully.

I've also got the 💯 from Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, to Far Cry 6 (6 games), & Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 4, & Fallout 76, all of which are large completions.

Jason tops them all though, it's just an insane grind.

EA has been a shit company since well before 2015, and still are. They don't treat their employees well, and they have some pretty shady business practices. They also put out cool games sometimes. Those are unrelated. I never disliked them for the quality of their games.
