So it’s like those old arcade games where you had to keep pumping quarters in to continue? No thanks.

Pick a class that has access to stealth and play one of the better stories first. Both are important, but I'd say stealth is the most important factor. There is a LOT of excessive combat and stealth skills make the experience dramatically better.

Tusken has many songs with an interesting mood to them, like Mocean, Trey Gowdy and Nashua

This is a great story driven game and MID MMO. You can play like a single player game for story but its better if you have a subscription

It sounds like what you're describing here is the exact opposite of what your post is asking.
It sounds like what you're saying is permadeath would be the standard, and you would pay to remove permadeath from a character you liked.
Which sounds like an absolute bullshit mechanic.

No, i mean the opposite. Every run is permadeath except for the ones you unlock which you can keep going on forever even if you die.

Someone got a good character roll and became particularly attached to their character build and don't want to have to start one from scratch.

So if I die, I get sent back to some checkpoint, but if I want to restart the run from scratch I have to pay? Why would I do that rather than just continuing?

What if it was specifically designed so it didn't affect multiplayer and skilled players could unlock the same mechanic in a single run if they got far enough?

The direction of this comic is so wild. Clearly you read the top first but what comes second. It should be the bottom left one first but the flow is weird and wrong like that. Am I supposed to read this clockwise??? Why would anyone ever make a comic that flows like a clock?!
