In fairness to God of War it kinda falls into that middle ground between Open World and Linear, it has open worldy elements and open stages but the vast majority of the game is spent moving linearly through areas, the same as Jedi:Fallen Order.

I was doing all chests and question mars on a map in FC6 as well. I said "F IT" and once geared up, tarted doing only said quests and main story. It was fun as hell! And it had an ending. I love when games have ending and don't drag.

Yeah, the jump to PS5 is worth it. It includes the entire PS4 library, but with many improvements to the games like framerate and loading times.

There are also a couple PS3 games in the store.

You can get PS+ for $60 a year (or $30 on sale) and it gets you 2-3 free games a month. Very worth it.

Fatal frame. It's a ps2 game but god is it good.

Off the top of my head, here are the more important ones.

Pokémon Sun and Moon DEMO - Gives access to Ash Greninja (and is free).

Pokémon Crystal - The only game in the series right now with access to a legitimate Celebi. (Can be shiny hunted too)

Those are the only ones I can think of with exclusive Pokémon in them. Other then Pokémon Bank and Transfer I think that's it.

Yeah, this. You can 100% play this game as if it was a series of single-player RPGs if you don't want to engage with the online community.

There will be times and places where other players are obviously around, but you don't need multiple people to play together. You can level up all on your own, and these days you can keep up with the story just playing the story missions and not bothering with any of the side quest stuff.

Dark Pictures anthology

My big recommendation. Especially mature story with fun and challenging stealth encounters.

But I highly recommend starting with Plague Tale Innocence and then going to Requiem.

Does the butt clenchyness of the game play go away? Because I'm about 2 hours into innocence and I just feel tense the whole damn time!
