This is a great sentiment, you wanted to own the game, and you bought it. 10 years late is just as fine! I also remember in the PS1,2 and 3 era that owning a physical copy of a game significantly increased my chance of beating the game! I miss the demo discs!

I used to prefer open world games and spend weeks exploring but now I have less time to play them I feel overwhelmed by the size of some maps, I recently played far cry 6 which was awful but my first thought was shit ill never finish this map in the 3 hours a week I get to myself. I'm leaning more towards linear games now

Its a great story. Single players with mmo elements. It works just like WoW but is far more immersive, dialogue options. It was made with love from good ole bioware when thyey were one of the best. There are 100s of hours of gameplay. One protip subscribe to it. It opens a lot of game features and its not expensive Ps fashion game is strong in this one

We need a resurgence of off the wall crazy stylised racing games, ones like Blur, Twisted Metal, Hot Wheels, (mini racers I think it was called?) Burnout and Roll Cage where my go to driving games because racing sims like Ridge Racer, Gran Tourismo and WRC just weren’t my cup of tea.

Quality > quantity. I will spend $60 for a well crafted linear experience that's only 15-20 hours long before I pay $60 for some 100+ hour open world game I will get burnt out on and never finish.

I think semi open 40-60 hour games are the sweet spot though.

Games like Witcher 3, Tomb Raider, and Metro Exodus where you have multiple smaller maps with only a handful of collectibles and side missions padding the run time.

If you like single-player RPGs, it's a great game. You can stop time with a push of a button to plan ahead, or you can do combat on the fly. Story was great, good characters, and kind of like D&D since 2000s Bioware followed that formula.

If you try it and like it, Dragon Age: Origins is very similar as well...since that was also Bioware in their golden era.
