I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that. Most of the VR games I bought were disappointing (especially Skyrim), and the game that I enjoyed the most was a stupid tie-in thing for one of the spiderman films that I downloaded for free.

I still use it for Netflix if I’m too lazy to get out of bed, nice giant movie screen in my face. Little bummed fr tho, because I just caved and made the meta account.

I owned a OLED before I switched. Its fantastic. You are also comparing a tradtitional projector and screen with a UST projector and ALR screen. very different combos.
The UST projectors are fantastic.

Naw. As someone who owns a JVC projector (NX5) and a high quality screen, and as someone who has an OLED for their monitor (C2) and in the bedroom, it's not even close. It's good, but you are trading size for quality.

They’re doing this to increase their margins on new displays.
The screen repair market for smartwatches is exponentially smaller (and probably almost non-existent in reality) than just selling watches.

Normally, they will make the updates available for a while after, but they will stop developing new updates, but who knows what will actually happen.

If you click the Amazon link at the bottom, it leads to an entirely different product. And the monitor stand launches at the end of the month for $250. So this article is wrong in just about all of the ways that matter.

I have one. Bought it in January of 2020, and I still use it.
It's pretty crappy that they stopped producing replacement hardware just a little over a year after it came out. As for the part about discontinuing updates, I think I prefer that. The alternative is that they keep pushing features made for the OQ2 until the OQ1 can no longer run the games that worked three years ago.

Exactly my point. Screaming kids yelling obscene and racist comments in the ears of other impressionable children. It's not hard to see how this would be a problem. Again, it's ultimately up to the parents to do their own research and make their own decisions regarding their own children.

Not long enough... lets see here , the white one came with the cosole and ive had it since launch and it was the first to get drift.... Bought the crimson red controller and it has drift also and so does the black one... mainly using the camo controller now as it is the newest and still has yet to drift.

Yeah, I'm fine with Independent creators sharing their work. Not so cool with established brands doing stuff like this.

It’s basically an Android mobile device. Some of the phones are lucky to get 3 years of support.
Even Apple only promises 5 years of support.
And a lot of those devices cost twice as much.

That's a neat idea, but ambient light hits from all directions--these sceens would still look grey-ish, not black like tv screens right?
