Why is everyone complaining about the ps5 controllers? I’ve had mine for over a year and I haven’t had a single issue. I’m pretty sure I’ve never even seen low battery. How long do people play without charging their controllers?

Not only is the battery life worse, but the controllers have a major stick drift issue, I’ve been through 3 over the course of a year.

Stopped using it when they locked the headset.

By the time hobbyists can actually buy a Pi, this camera will be obsolete.

In a ICE expanding heated gas from combustion is converted to mechanical energy but waste heat is inefficiency. More direct heat to energy would be a steam engine which is external combustion although steam is released which is a waste heat.

No spies, just obvious. Next largest and most expensive piece of silicon in there that they don't make. Plus, know what it's like to be working on a chip they designed out, I was interviewing because that happened in my prior job.

This shouldn't be downvoted. Intellectual property constraints are the reason this effort has yielded nothing over the last several (maybe 10?) years.

It's also why no other company outside of Huawei (who don't have the same legal hurdles) would even consider doing this.

I couldn't believe I had to purchase the GoW controller separately after opening the bundle and realizing it came with the basic white. Everyone has to milk us for every little detail, feature or variation of their products these days.

Read my other post in this thread. Qualcomm and Broadcom have monopolies in their respective domains. Breaking a monopoly is hard.

Nobody else has the budget, patience, legal power and scale needed for this to be a sane thing to try to do. For everyone else but Apple and Huawei, just paying the price Qualcomm demands is the right choice.

As far as I care, the updates ended this year when they required a meta account to use it.

My DS4 dies after a couple hours of just streaming Netflix. It's insane.

Wow. Stunning that isn't a priority for Sony. DS4 is dreadful.
