Yeah, there are other problems with government relationships with corporations too. The Oligarchy is an entirely different topic

I haven't checked his channel yet since this news broke but I can sense Louis Rosman (rightfully) losing his patience over this like Alderaan being destroyed.

And then that agency gets directed by former tech executives because they are the "experts" in tech

I disagree, I bought a hub because I have a friend who wanted to give me their old nest (eventually). It's a godsend when you have children. Turn off the light, set an alarm for bedtime every night, throw on a YouTube video when I need a quick distraction. It definitely has its benefits with little ones involved. There's a shopping list feature too I haven't gotten to play with but could be very beneficial with one person out and the other at home physically checking for items and adding to the list.

I mean don’t we all?
But for practical purposes I’ll settle for the equivalent of what they’ve done with the Apple Watch Ultra, to start.
Enough to make through to the second night before charging and a solid three days on low power mode.
Actually I mainly charge my ultra while I’m in the shower and if I kept it on low power, (edit:) and kept the iPhone within Bluetooth range, I’m pretty sure I’d never have to take it off to charge otherwise. Battery life boost has been great.
Edit: I might actually have to try that experiment for a few days.

We need a government agency to address this the same way DOT addresses vehicle safety

I’m fine with that. I’m not sure there are any apps out there that really push the full capabilities of the iPhone processors anyway. I’ll take the increased battery life.

It'll never happen as long as the Dollar is God and King, and the Uber rich control tech and politics. It would be awesome though.

The 3-year redesign cycle ended with the 14. The 15 is likely to be different.
