Hell yeah. This all the way. I love having my full screen watching YouTube. Seeing any notch or holepunch cameras on the screen stop me from upgrading

Lol I didn't understand your comment until I looked through "knowledge_adaptables" comments. It does look like someone just automated chatGPT responses lmaooo.

I've used OnePlus One, 6, 7 Pro, 8 Pro, 9 Pro. I'm afraid it's over. Just went over to the Pixel 7 Pro. Way better bang for the buck for the hardware on Black Friday. OnePlus is not what it used to be. It's just not a flagship killer on a budget anymore.

That's a slippery slope. So far, Samsung electronics are perfectly fine. Their appliance sector is a whole another thing.
Can you really not think of a single company that has a spectacular line of one type of product but also has a terrible line of other products? In fact, I'd say the vast majority of companies are like this, and I can't name a single company that has perfect SKU's all around

Honestly, as someone who was content and happy with the OP5, Pixel 7 is a bit too much of an upgrade for me. (Ultimately chose 7 because I found a better deal at that time.) If you can find someone who has the 5a or go in a store and try it out, that might help your decision-making.

I also have an OP5, but just bought a Google Pixel 7 because OnePlus just isn’t a flagship killer brand anymore. Their phones have gotten too expensive for their quality.

I still think the 5T is the best phone ever produced, it had a perfect fingerprint scanner at the best location, sure it didn't make amazing photos or videos, but for me a phone is about being practical for it's use case. The audio quality was top notch, the GPS worked great, the screen was great, it was very flat and lasted two whole days for me for battery. I still think about that phone daily.

I just traded my 7 Pro for a pixel 7 Pro because Verizon offered a crazy $700 trade in on it. The pixel feels like a better OnePlus. They're even the exact same size, lol.

My battery is sitting at 68% original capacity last I checked. But the quick charge helps boost it along throughout the day.
There are features I wish I had like dual speaker stereo sound, or wireless charging. But I agree, pretty much everything on this phone is still bomb. Can't complain to much. I got it on sale with a discount for $280 back in the day. I'm in no rush to upgrade

My OnePlus Nord n10 software bricked itself 2hrs prior to boarding an international flight. Then, miraculously, I was able to wipe it clean and get it going again.
100% software issue and many other bugs manifested. Will never but another OnePlus again

I loved it until the battery failed me, swapped it out for a new one, but the battery life remained to be absolutely shitty. Had to charge it twice a day almost every day. Would have loved to use it for at least another year, but it made me switch to the Pixel 7 Pro. :(

I used to like OnePlus phones but now they cost as much as a Samsung practically. Their support also ripped me off by promising me more for my trade in than they were going to give. I'm done with them.

Hah yeah that's why I didn't buy another after the One. Got more expensive every model until it became the flagship it was meant to be better value than.
