I'm not a native English speaker - when I was younger, I was chatting in a server about Japan and was too lazy to write "Japanese", so I shorthanded it to jap, instead of jp or jpn, because hey, first three letters, right?

Suddenly people got very angry, I was very confused until someone told me that apparently American war propaganda used "jap" as a derogatory term during ww2. Bruh, people can be overly sensitive. I've never heard anyone use that shorthand since, especially not in a derogatory way.

I find this really curious.

I had never heard of this "Nanny McPhee" before this weekend. I saw a movie running on the TV on saturday, watched it for like 10 minutes, went to do something else.

Now I see this post, and I'd just like to ask the IRL devs to do a better job when adding legacy content. At least make sure you integrate the timeframe properly to every user. Smh.

"Fish Balls" is a Filipino snack or street-food, it's basically a round shaped fishcake that we deep-fry and dip into different kinds of sauces.

"Pisbols" is basically how Filipinos with heavy accents would pronounce it.
