I chopped the top of my left hand middle finger off in cooking school. It’s weirdly liberating flipping everyone off for a few weeks while your finger heals. You also took a great pic here.

As someone who knows Spanish and is black... I've never seen either usage strange because they exist in different contexts and aren't actually pronounced similarly at all
