looks like the steak would be overpowered with that olive oil flavor. less of a pesto and more of an oil soup. also i’ve never been one for whole sprigs as garnish, the thyme doesn’t do much for the presentation imo. Steak looks nice though!

It is a lot of oil, but I have to admit the presentation looks good.
For balance, I would serve this with a plate of bread for dipping.

Your aren't wrong. I was trying to show co-workers and customers that you could produce good looking food with items in the shop, and I didnt have a small enough spoon to scoop of the pesto from the jar.
