Briefly sautée the onions and garlic and then add the potatoes. Stir briefly and then add water, carrots. When the carrots and potatoes are almost cooked add the chopped Frankfurters/Bockwurst. Add black pepper, white pepper and then salt to taste. Garnish with some spring/green onions. That’s it.

According to who? You? So you are the self righteous authority on what someone should put together? Dude get over yourself.

Not slimy either. Your description sounds more like oysters… which I’ll eat occasionally but am not a huge fan of.

In general the brown sauce is made with all the flavor boiled out of the other food.

How did you reheat it? I’m always fearful of drying it out.

I've made cheese and honey sandwiches with just mature cheddar and found it to be good.

My market has it as Queso de Frier and it comes in foot long blocks.

In love this type of lobster presentation where the meat is propped up on top of the shell, still attached at the base of the tail. Looks very nice

I prefer a béchamel because I don’t really love the texture of ricotta. It isn’t terrible, but it isn’t my favorite. The last lasagna I made I decided to try a béchamel instead of ricotta and it was my husbands and my favorite lasagna we’ve ever had. Never going back!

That’s exactly what I told my wife, who orders these any chance she gets. I let her go to town and then I scoop up the leftovers with a crostini.
