Vegetarians just don’t eat meat/fish but do eat eggs and dairy. Vegans don’t eat meat/fish, eggs, or dairy. I have been vegetarian for 20+ years, the terms have always been different things.

This seems to be a common sentiment. If you have an international market I implore you to ask if they can put an order in for you. They're expensive for sure. But at 4 dollars a pound (for me at least, I'm in the Midwest US), I find them to be more affordable than quality steak cuts. I'll pray you find a plug 🙏

Some people enjoy cooking and don’t see it as work. It’s a labor of love. Knowing how to transform humble ingredients into something far more than the sum of their parts is rewarding. It takes time, but as others have pointed out, much of it is passive. Throw some bones, spices, and water in a pot. Let it boil while you unwind. The fragrant broth will make your house smell awesome while you hang out and wait for it to be ready.

Vegetarian refers to vegetation, not only vegetables. Fruit is vegetation, eggs are not.

Used to think this until I got harassed by a vegan for eating eggs.
Not all of em are like that but goddamn do the bad ones make a scene.

That is not true. You can use a soup spoon for the diced onions.
Source: have ate at tons of Japan ramen places.

Can't find them anywhere though, and quite expensive.

Not OP, but I know vegetable broths like kayanoya are very common to use for veggie ramen

You need to read my comment again. I'm suggesting that you only need to use a fork or chopsticks to pick up the food if you sliced the onions thin and not diced.
