I love it. I might take some of my upcoming meals and shape them using the technique you described!

I hear you! And we are expecting a little one early this summer, so I’ll probably be about 0 help haha. We would really love to do some raised beds eventually, but time, energy, and budget haven’t aligned yet haha.

I love our garden, but it does become backbreaking at times. I need to give some serious thoughts about what I'm planting this year. Last year we had problems with a gopher and it ate so many of our tomatoes and dahlias, and stripped 80% of the potato leaves.
I'd plant everything if only I had the money (and the energy). Happy gardening.

This takes me back to the Avocado Green phone that hung on the wall in our kitchen.
In the 70’s, when you didn’t own the phone. You leased them from Ma Bell…

I have never eaten venison before. What does cooked venison taste like?

Pork, yes. Although I've also seen it with veal. Cordon bleu is also traditionally made from pork, although nowadays veal is considered the norm (probably because Wiener Schnitzel is made from veal). OP made it from chicken, so it's neither - is that what you're saying? imho using chicken is fine.
As for cheese - the original flamenquin recipe is without cheese, but nowadays it's imho more common to receive ot with cheese, even in Cordoba/Andalusia itself, where it originated. (And in tapas bars you can find it with all kinds of fillings, like aspargus.)

I went off and found a recipe for american biscuits. It seems that you make them a bit like flakey pastry only quicker (folding the dough and rolling it out). Any way, I will give it a go one day. Think they would be nice with soup.

Isn't flamenquin made with pork? And has no cheese in it?
