Make sure the fries are really dry. Water and hot oil do not mix well.

I see! Thank you very much, I’ll save your directions and keep an eye on the temperature next time!

Fries look okay but pretty poor to be honest. I’m going to give you some weird temperatures because you are making schnitzel so I’m assuming you use Celsius, I’ll convert for you. First off as soon a you cut your potatoes throw them in water and gently agitate them for a minutes at least, next step dry them and then fry them at 162.7 degrees for 2 minutes. Allow to cool for a couple minutes and then throw them into a freezer. After at least an hour fry at 162.7 until golden brown.

The secret to Kraft is to do 2 boxes worth of cheese and 1 box or noodles. My guilty pleasure, akmly since I feel bad about wasting noodles.

I am! I’ll keep this in mind for the next time, since it was fun to use the oil for it this time!
Noswe t1_j5syjwo wrote
Are you shallow frying the schnitzel in a frying pan? Lower the heat to get a more even colour instead of burning the schnitzel where it touches the pan, and don't be shy with the amount of oil you use :)

I know it’s plain but I was never able to cook schnitzel right as a kid and I’m just proud of it and my homemade fries, even if they aren’t golden brown 👉👈

I have to buy the allergy version, and I still prefer to shell out the big bucks to get the nearly authentic taste.
I can cook, but I’ll be damned if I can arsed messing about making Mac n cheese lol

I never thought about pairing cheesy grits with broccoli before. Thanks!

Dang I was just eating ribs yesterday from a BBQ place near me and I swore shrinkflation had given me the tiniest meatless ribs I had ever seen. And yeah, those look like proper ribs. All these restaurants are going to go out of business and people are going to start cooking again for a decent meal.

I've also used sour cream, or a glob of plain greek yogurt to jazz up the blue box.
