The Spurs got too close to the graph's origin and try as they might, couldn't escape its gravity.

Oh nice, it’s that terrible map that shows a landlocked Massachusetts, Maryland, North Carolina, and Virginia, and gives Idaho an awesome Pacific coast.

No idea if other countries use it but it’s quite common in the UK.

That’s fair but no one here is walking to school when the average low is 10 degrees.

Is there a game every day?

I mostly worry about kids walking to school in the dark

I'd rather flip the two timings, but I guess this is OK. If you flip them we get more days with the sun setting at the same time. Seems silly to extend time for the summer

I already wake pre-dawn in winter so it’s fine. The sun rising so early would destroy me and having all of 2.5 hours of daylight at best after work would be incredibly depressing. Also probably ruinous to the tourism industry here.

I like these types of team visualizations, though I typically prefer naming each quadrant (awesome, fun, terrible, boring, or the like) rather than have a single bad->good axis.

Yeah, but a 9am sunrise in the winter is worse to me

4 AM sunrise times in summer would be awful (as are 4 PM sunset times in winter), so no thanks to standard time all around.

If Biden wants this done, all he has to do is come out against it.

We’ll do this right after converting to the metric system, so it shouldn’t be too long of a wait.

Possible to scale the size and/or give gradient color of red-yellow-green of the logos to winning percentage or cardinal rank maybe? If so, maybe give a sliding weight from best to worst to further differentiate.

It makes sense honestly, UCSB is a higher end school but it definitely doesn't stand against the top top top schools. For the smartest students this is more of a safety school than anything, however I am interested to know where they got this data from.

It is 100% worth it. Even if you have a semblance of Kings fandom in you, you should catch their games this season since they have been the most exciting team to watch IMO. The crowd is electric, their offense is fun as hell… I would kill for my team to be as good as them right now.
