Surely you have simultaneity issues doing that since the number of hours worked are chosen based on wages.

I made this graph entirely to dunk on the one from yesterday that was both one dimensional and ugly. They even displayed it as a bar graph! I also stole the same data sources.
My experiment failed though, not many people seemed to like this post.

To be completely honest, I agree. I made this post entirely to dunk on the one from yesterday that got 19k upvotes despite displaying the same data in a both ugly and one dimensional way. I don’t actually care about what correlation exists and what we can learn from it (very little).

A single color gradient would be more appropriate here to easily compare the countries to each other. If the invasion aspect was explicit in the representation of the visualization only then would red - green make sense as you have them established that the visualization is addressing a topic that has a good-bad dimension.

We're putting offers in on houses in Pittsburgh. We're looking in the best neighborhoods and a nice 2 bedroom 1 bath house is like 275K and whole foods is 5 minutes away. I love SD, but for us it's just not worth it anymore. I'm afraid we'll keep getting priced out of other markets too if we wait.

If Russia keeps this up the entire Ukraine will be a bomb-safe environment, a bunker-like state prepared for the worst adversities. It could actually prepare Ukraine to become something of a great nation.

Is this like what they show in some of the Hollywood movies? I kind of found it calming. But yeah I can understand living there for 20 years can wear you down.

Median wealth is a better metric. Japan's median wealth is higher than that of US and Sweden, and double that of Germany.
Of course this doesn't take into account the trillions in banks

Japan still has a higher median wealth than that of US or Sweden, and double that of Germany
