I haven't used Kalshi specifically, but I used PredictIt (a similar, competing website) during the 2020 election and made $200 off overconfident Trump supporters who kept buying his shares even when Biden was leading the polls by large margins.

Smaller samples are outliers. One crime for population of 100 people is 1k/100k, none is 0/100k. Consider AK, SD, MT.

Prediction markets are mostly nonexistent in the US, due to regulatory capture of the CFTC. They shut down most markets in exchange for bribes.

It’s animated because it shows in real time how long it takes professional football players to run 40 yards. The animation time equals the sprint time, pretty cool.

Another question: was a set uniform basket of goods selected, or was a combination and a quantity of goods somehow chosen by reporting bodies?

Doesn't both the suspension of payments and the forgiveness apply to only federal loans?

The data are beautiful but to your point this graph is not a helpful representation. See the other Debt post: [OC] The top 10% of borrowers hold almost half of all federal student debt

There're plenty of people in unskilled jobs who work for less than that in Idaho. Shop welders in Indiana report making $12 for okay-looking (but not complicated) work.

Alternatively alternatively: most of the debt relief will go to the more affluent people.

I definitely could have just misread in a hurry!
Mississippi and failing something is nothing new though, so I can absolutely believe they failed to accurately report.

So what you're telling me is someone got the bears drunk, taught them to drill for oil and forced them to join gangs? It's worse than I thought.

Alternatively: the poorest people carry the least student debt.

The link says 2020, but it’s Wikipedia, who knows? Birmingham is carrying all of the weight of Alabamians violence, with Montgomery picking up what’s left. Georgia has Atlanta, enough violence for the entire Southeast (this is per 100,000 people). I’ve been to Mississippi, heck I’ve been to jail in Mississippi, Mississippi is just failing to report statistics. No way is it not more Red.
