I would be interested in seeing this data presented as a percentage difference instead of absolute difference. Why don't you redo it?

Then the graph is confusing because the labelled arnt the same with no markers to distinguish differences.
You put in movies which makes the graph appear to be a chronology based on movies and tv shows. You then randomly add in Han Solo only, also using just Solo which there is a movie which gives the reader the assumption that you are tracking where the movie falls in the chronology rather than the character. Its not internally consistent.
Better to keep them separate graphs or at least have distinct markings to differentiate between characters and movies/shows and also include other characters. We know Luke and Leia were born at the end of episode 3 and both live to the end of episode 8 for example. Vader and Obi Wan are born some time before episode 1 and Obi Wan lives until one third of episode 4 and Vader until end of episode 6. Palps is pre-episode 1 to episode 6 with his clone then born and then dies at the end of episode 9.

For people that want to contribute to lowering those numbers I can recommend the "Too good to go" app.
It allows shops to get rid of food that would usually go to waste at the end of the day and be thrown out otherwise. Especially bakeries are a good example here. It doesn't always work great, some sellers try to cheat the system into something that it is not, but most are thankfully genuine.

Difference is, the US has fridges and freezers. They do a lot to preserve food until consumption

Nah, overall I like these visualizations. It shows more clearly a decrease over time while accounting for natural changes in seasons, and makes it easy to compare side by side for any given season/month. I just wish the colors on this one were a little more pronounced so it's easier to differentiate years

its adjusted for cost of living, so 22 in Switzerland would be much lower than 22 on the graph even if it was on there because cost of living is much higher

To shine a light on why there are so much food waste in Malaysia, apparently inedible waste like big fruit peels are considered as food waste in Malaysia. To quote the report:
>In a 2010 household waste composition analysis in Bandar Baru Bangi, Malaysia, food waste was split into three categories: “Unused food”, “General kitchen waste” and “big fruit peels.” The latter category is particularly relevant to Southeast Asia, where large fruits such as durian or jackfruit will lead to substantial inedible waste.
Malaysia is a big producer of fruits with thick and heavy inedible peel/shell, most notably are durian, jackfruit, mangosteen, coconut and so on. Also referring the same analysis:
>What is more notable is that “Unused food” accounted for some 18 per cent of total food waste in those households, a substantial minimum share of food waste that was edible.
The point is, data collection varies from country to country, and visualization like this doesn't effectively represent the truth of the matter.

I think the problem in your understanding is assuming any salary should be measured or "justified" by anything other than the income generated by the employee.
In capitalism, prices come from the market process: supply and demand, that's it.

States and Cities have their own minimum wage laws in the US. The federal government has in effect left it up to local governments to decide what the appropriate policy is. For example in Illinois minimum wage is $13 and will be $15 by 2025. In Chicago it’s $15.40

They haven’t been all that high, that’s averaging about 10 points a year which means top 2. Maybe Clemson?
