It’s terribly inefficient, in nearly all respects.
Only thing ethanol benefits non-insignificantly is farming conglomerates.

Financial institutions usually report net interest revenue, which means that interest paid to depositors has usually been taken out of the top line. Eg, if I make $200 lending out deposits that I paid you $100 on, I’d report $100 in net revenue as the “top line” figure to focus on.

The more you learn about nuclear, the more you realize it's the best

In some parts of Canada. Hydro anything is not ubiquitous across Canada.

No. To clarify, the amount in the data is only the customer tip from each order. It excludes the transit pay (usually around $0.8/km) and other eligible subsidies and bonuses.

And that is only the profit? After gas and mileage that's pretty rough

Is this U.S.? I never tip less than 20 percent. I kind of feel I should do that. I can’t imagine not tipping. I’d be really ashamed when my food is handed.

Was just eating really excellent braised beef tendon in Singapore. In the US, you never see it on the menu (except maybe some beef tendon in pho). Easy enough to find dried tendon being used as dog chews though. I apologize if anyone thinks I'm referring to Singapore as part of 'the developing world'.

Varies a lot as an independent contractor. Sometimes less than $10/hr sometimes more than $25/hr on holidays and weekends!
