Quick question about vehicle inspection stickers. Tried googling this but haven't found anything conclusive. My sticker expires in March 2023, does that mean it expires on the 1st of the month, the end of the month, or the day printed on the sticker that I got it last year?

Guessing it's the end of the month, but I moved to Boston ~a year ago so this is my first time dealing with renewing it.

On principle the owner should be paying the 50 to the agent for drawing up a new lease but realistically if your rent is the same from 4 years ago I’d say just pay it as your rent going up 50 per month is 600 per year

Did anyone bother to read the article? They wouldn’t have homeless people lining up and camping outside their doors for the leftovers. It says that they would partner with local nonprofits who would handle distribution.

The official answer has been "definitely spring, fingers crossed" for a while now. We'll see.

I love taking the 134 to the western cross fells trail head and hiking through to the eastern end. Then stroll over to Oak Grove, Orange line to North Station, and stop at Tasty Burger for lunch.

Look at it as a $50/12 increase in your monthly rent.

I’ve run restaurants for 20 years. NYC, Vegas and now Boston. THERE IS SO MUCH LEFTOVER FOOD!!!! It’s always been because of health code violations.

In Vegas at one of the major casinos we finally started separating food waste to send to local farms for animal feed.

We always have bread and some simple ingredients left over from service and especially a Private Event.

Regulating this will be a nightmare. Why not concentrate on the T and rent first?

Sure. But that’s a 1/100 find. The average and median rent for 1 bedrooms in Boston is significantly above that.

Most fast food places also have rules in place to dispose of the leftovers instead of giving it to employees. Too many people would abuse it otherwise.

Go ahead and complain-- but feel confident that your landlord won't take kindly to it.
