Park at Riverside and take the green line in. It's super cheap and safe. Definitely cheaper than getting towed

The MBTA used to have a more extensive ferry system around Boston Harbor, but most of the routes were canceled due to high operating costs. All we're left with now is a dinky route to Charlestown, a seasonal route to Eastie, and two routes to Hingham and Hull.

If you’re planning on visiting Lexington and Concord you will need a rental car for that.

I have literally never put my heat up to 73, that is super high.
Try lowering the thermostat. I keep mine on 63 during the day and 55 at night. I paid $170 in February for a 3 bedroom single family home.

Pretty sure this “tactic” was utilized in the movie The Place Beyond the Pines with Ryan Gosling. He would rob a bank and then use a box truck to store the bike

Reply to comment by -CalicoKitty- in Where can I print 2x2 passport photos? by 1incroyable
I did this recently and the photos were rejected at the USPS When we applied for passports. It’s not just the size but also how large your head appears within the frame (which is detailed on the application and I just did not appreciate it.) So be forewarned.
I will say…the USPS lady at the Davis Sq. Post office couldn’t have been nicer in taking the correct pics and processing the application.

So yeah, the issue is sometimes the PD will say "it's a civil matter". All the tenant needs to do is flash a fake lease paper and scream "illegal eviction" as loud as they can...and they basically get to live for free in your home until you can get the court to order them removed.

And while they live there, paying no rent...you are legally required to keep the house in working order. It's fucking awful. It's at the point where if someone breaks into your home you'd be better off doing what you did than calling the police for help.

I’m sure BlackRock will be happy to buy up a significant portion of the boomers’ housing stock and we’ll all be renting from them within 20 years.

That’s clearly a bad place to ride on the sidewalk, but it’s also not illegal to ride on a sidewalk and it’s also quite dangerous to ride on the road in certain spots in Boston.
Best solution is to continue building out bike lanes and rights of way for and then make it illegal to ride on the sidewalk.

Maybe your line, but not the whole system. The last several trips I've taken on the Lowell line, in either direction, have gone without a hitch.

Mostly subway, but parts of it are on the surface, especially the Green line.

I'm in Sydney right now, and constantly marveling at their ferry system around the city. So easy to use and beautiful trips anywhere you want to get to around the harbor. We could replicate this here of course, but likely never will.

It’s a long story but basically they had to counter sue and then did mediation. In the end they had to pay for bed bug remediation and she lost her security deposit.

As someone who lives in Concord, you’re going to need a rental car. Both of our commuter rail train stops are far from historical sites and Uber is spotty especially in March.
