My wife’s parents own a 3 family in Southie and they had a lawyer for a tenant once. She sued them because her apartment had bed bugs. She brought the bed bugs back from a trip somewhere.
They forbade lawyers after that too.

IIRC the basis of the fraud case is:
In his attempt to buy the Buffalo Bills, he provide the NFL a list of assets and their declared value. I’ve never bought an NFL team and don’t know who’s value you’re supposed to use but I’m sure it’s not common to use municipal property assessments.
The trouble is, in filing his taxes, he provided an identical list of assets, but the value he declared to the United States Government varied greatly from the value he submitted to the NFL.
It’s a game everyone plays to some degree but none quite as brazen as Trump.

You'd have to reschedule your trip to see any of the reenactments, but for a history nerd I think it's worth it. The Plimouth Pawtuxet living history museums are worth it too, but that's maybe for another trip.

I kind of feel like this sort of stuff has significantly died down because of those earlier busts. I live on a very busy street and the bike groups came down my street 3-4 times in the summer of 2021 but 0 times in 2022.

It quite literally does. I’ve been following housing prices everywhere inside 495 for the last three years. Housing prices are still insane.

Go to Fins Japanese Restaurant (there are a couple, one in Beacon Hill). Order their steak teppanaki, it’s grilled and comes with bowl of rice and veggies. Under $20. Or a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown and order their iron steak. It will be well-priced.

I'd rather get hit by a 15 mph scooter five times than get hit by a 30 mph scooter once.

I guess this includes the dipshit in the dairy aisle at market basket. He was wearing a helmet, so not sure if he runs the sidewalks or just knows how crappy the streets are.

Yeah, but as a kid it was exciting waiting for the news to read off your town's name and kind of a rush when they did.
