1-4 inches of snow over the course of 12 hours starting at 1am. I don’t think it’s going to be that bad and I’m going to be the person shoveling out my school.

Whenever I see heavy traffic I say to myself, what are all these people doing out? At this hour?

I came across a listing like that, and wasn't shocked until I saw where it was - right around the corner from Harvard Law. Maybe get to know the neighborhood and demographics before buying property there?

Yeah we have 2 kids and are pretty minimalist but still can’t swing the leafy burbs even with $300K household income. It’s crazy out there

None of the Quincy candidates have cared much so far. The other challenge is many of the main roads are MA state roads and we all know how the state is when it comes to infrastructure lol.

I believe they’d have more emergent and higher acuity of things to attend than reporting a broken windshield due to ice blob

Why is closing schools because of 2” of snow even a conversation nowadays? I’m not trying to come off as a hard ass “back in my day” type but seriously?

The districts cancelling this evening over a minor storm on top of bare ground are just absurd.

For Jan 2019 I see 658k subway rides per weekday, way higher than 1.7m per month. Bus was 370k / weekday. https://mbtabackontrack.com/performance/#/detail/ridership/2019-01-01/Subway///all

I mean, medical staff still has to show up at hospitals. Using long commutes as an excuse to close schools is kinda weird

The end of the pier thing over by the bocce courts in the North End overlooking the harbor.
Never been but the harbor island islands probably.

Don’t get why do benches need to be comfortable for people to sleep on? Is that why we have benches? I thought they were for sitting.

You're allowed to switch suppliers. If you're still with national grid, you're getting charged for 33 cents per kWh. Easy switch to with a simple online application to one of the suppliers. I went with 17 cents per.

I’m sure I messed up some math somewhere, but I pulled out just subway and bus rides form the January 2019 data from the mbta website. The 671m figure includes commuter rail and ferry.

Anyone who’s seen the business end of the family or civil court system embroiled in vexatious, frivolous litigation at the hands of maniacal, misandrist, judges and lecherous lawyers knows why.
