I had a weird experience at G20 with the woman who gave me my facial. Her line of questioning/concern about something she claimed she saw on my skin but I have never noticed or had anyone comment on made me uncomfortable and felt like she was trying to get me to buy something by pointing out something that could be a flaw (but doesn't exist). I also just didn't think it was that great for all the high ratings it gets. I've only been once but I don't think I would go back there.

Exhale- Battery Wharf is also incredible.

Or just someone with a realistic understanding of how fast scooters go (and how fast someone could realistically even drive one on a Boston sidewalk)

Lawyer here. It’s somewhat true, actually. There are limitations for 4 or 2 units or less, but there are still some rights that remain as discrimination, like discriminating based on race.

Is this just stuff you say since you know there are no lawyers in your building? 😂

If it's a two family, and you live in the other unit, you arent subject to the restriction of the Fair Housing Act. You can also refuse to rent to anyone with kids.
So, in essense, yes.

For people comparing to NYC roll out that is a fair but nuanced issue. One major difference is the T also including commuter rail in this job whereas NYC only had Subway and bus. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but in the NYC system it only has NYC MTA and does not include LIRR, PATH, Metro North, or NJ Transit right?

Massport has very in demand assets and very good revenue stream. FWIW Massport has its own scandal such as the State Police barracks OT scandal also touched on the Massport Troop.

Yes, it's truly insane how stupid the voters are but it's okay they're voting for people that want to "help" us without ever questioning what that help actually is (spoiler alert it's mostly suppressing new development, public transit, and job opportunities).
I'm sure if you're wealthy you love it because you get to talk about how much you love helping the poor and minorities while voting for politicians that will do everything in their power to make sure poor people can't live or work in Boston.

It’s a silly loophole, but I believe the fine print of the law is that landlords cannot charge an application fee/credit fee.
(This isn’t the actual law but: https://www.boston.gov/renting-boston)
A realtor is able to charge the fees.
Now why isn’t the $20 credit check fee folded into the broker’s fee? 🤷

Thank you. I'm looking into that as well. I'm just not sure what the exact process is, like once I get in a contract with a new supplier, do I have to call National Grid to let them know or cancel anything? I suppose I could call one of the suppliers and see if they know..
modernhomeowner t1_ja9o3sh wrote
I saw a post in r/solar recently, where a person was signing into a long-term solar agreement, was happy and wanted to sign the agreement, everyone cautioning not to as it was long-term and the person said they wanted it to be short term and said "I'm a lawyer, I know how to work the system to get out of it." And listed a bunch of abusive practices of filing false complaints with the BBB and Attorney General to get the company to cave. So, the poster could have some shady housing issues or had an issue with a tenant abusing the legal system to get their way.

What level of incompetence is required to get employment within the top echelon of the MBTA? It's just one thing after another with these clowns.
icaquito t1_ja9nm14 wrote
I was surprised to see the increase in my bills too, wasn’t expecting it to be so high. I’d suggest switching suppliers if your town has an agreement in place as it tends to be the cheapest and same pricing for the length of the contract, it’s really easy to do online. It’s still going to be billed through national grid so not sure that building management will need to know. It takes about a billing period to take effect, but will save you money for a bit.

That level of understanding should also come with common sense. Whether they’re going 30, 20, or 10mph that is too fast for a sidewalk where the primary speed is that of a slow pigeon.
