Your post appears to be one of a number of commonly asked questions about the port city of Boston. Anyway, Royale is fine if you're just trying to get drunk and dance and hookup. The Grand is more of the same as Royale but more expensive and a stricter dress code. Bijou is fine if you're into house music, the last few times I've been to Bijou the crowd was mostly freshly 21 people. Legacy is under Royale and a pretty great queer club if that's you're thing. Good Life, Phoenix Landing, Middlesex, and The Lower Level are all great for underground shows if that's your thing. The vibes at those 4 places are all pretty good. Good Life is my favorite and they open back up this weekend. If you're just looking to get trashed and don't care what you dance to or who you dance around, any of the bars around Haymarket/Faneuil Hall will do. Ned Devine's, Hennessey's, Hong Kong ($1 chicken sticks!), Sissy K's, Coogan's. I think there's a few more I'm missing but those are the big ones. Also, I can't believe I forgot this, but if you're into top 40 or hip hop, Venu, Cure, Icon, and Hava are places to go if you're looking for something a little nicer/fancier/more upscale than what the Faneuil Hall/Haymarket bars and clubs offer. I also forgot about Memoire because it's in the casino but frankly I don't really know anyone who goes to Memoire regularly. It's more of the same stuff they play at the Grand and Royale. Now I think I've named them all. Also, please check the sidebar for visitor information.

Don’t listen to them, there is no issue at all with calling it “Mass”.

Yeah, I am sure the family of the 13 year old that was gunned down will be relieved when I tell them that u/Taft_2016 said that their son’s murder was only “statistical noise”.

If you absolutely don't care about price and want the best, the Mandarin Oriental has an incredible spa.

You and every other asshole who “wasn’t willing to chip away at it for fear of damaging the paint”.
You know who’s going to care about that paint when that sheet of ice flies off and smashes someone’s windshield? No one.

+1 for space heater recommendation.
It’s the smartest way to keep wherever you are a bit warmer. Don’t need to hear the whole house when you can only be in one room at a time.

Yea, my first line of defense is always adding more clothes. Sweatpants / sweatshirt / slippers.
Then I have a small space heater for my office room that I use moderately throughout the day (work from home) to keep my immediate proximity a bit warmer while keeping the apartment heat at 66 daytime temp.

Also if you’re sitting in the coldest part of the house just get a portable tiny space heater and set that up next to your preferred sitting spot. They’re probably horribly inefficient so double check that first when buying one (power consumption and do some quick math) but it has to be better than cooking the rest of your house so you can sit in the chilliest spot

You pay CVS to take your photo. The kiosk that customers use for printing photos doesn’t have the software.

I think it’s worth noting that Pressley actually voted AGAINST the infrastructure bill. So not only did we replace the guy getting the transportation grants, we replaced him with someone who actually voted with Republicans against the infrastructure bill. And even worse, we’re likely stuck with her because no one in their right mind would vote for a Republican and there hasn’t been a whisper of a potential primary candidate since she was elected.

The way the snow fell this particular storm made it *really* difficult to get snow off your car if you let it sit. This past week was also MA school vacation week so lots of people were out of town. Although not cleaning it off is illegal I'm sure lots of people said "eh good enough" this morning when they were met with a 40 minute project and just jumped on the road.

Still sucks and is illegal but probably a higher than normal % out there right now.

Our apartment is always at 73-76, degrees, 1000 square feet and yet to reach $100 for a bill with national grid. Then again, building is less than 3 years old and it’s not electric heat.
