I live in a red(er) county too. The most 'extreme' folks mostly just have rude/obnoxious signs on their trucks and houses. I think, seeing that the whole state voted blue in the last 2 presidential elections shows that we deeply oppose everything Trump stands for, and if the whole party is going to cater to him, then they have no place here. I believe people like Baker and Romney offered a healthy balance to the state's politics, but people like them don't seems to represent Republicans anymore.

My read of it is they're basically like independent contractors, and Thriveworks is just a service to better connect clients with therapists. My therapist and psychiatrist haven't once mentioned Thriveworks in about a year I've been seeing them (anxiety, death in the family).

I would still suggest maybe checking in with your PCP first. That's where I went to first, and my PCP gave me various recommendations for mental health. Could be they have someone they trust they could recommend to you. Good luck!!

Thank you for your answer.

I don't know who downvote me, but I noticed any time you mention ADHD and medicine in the same sentence here, it's a hot-button topic that'll likely get you downvoted...

Anyhow, I appreciate your response. The decision to medicate weighs heavily on a parent and I appreciate you speaking about it (even in the form of a question) publicly.

I guess what hasn't been explained, why does the yacht club not create the need for the drawbridge. Reading the article, it sounds like the yacht club is the only public space the bridge is connected to. Are there other properties aside from the yacht club that the bridge is connecting to?

Like if the yacht club were 'moved', and the bridge was disassembled and removed, would there be other things that are now disconnected?

Because the article does make it sound like the bridge literally leads to a yacht club and that's it. Like a small island with one property on it or something.
