Hey, he came here for recommendations not for pointers on how to write a highly detailed essay about what he’s looking for. He gave you enough detail for you to give recommendations. If you want more detail, then simply ask.

Ah gotcha gotcha, the one near me is still just an open space library, no small rooms or such, wasn't sure if that one was or not. I'll def check it out, thanks!

There's a Tatte cafe nearby that would probably fit the bill.

There's probably a small group room you can use. Post Covid, libraries have kinda become gathering spaces, not just quiet places

I did see that, would a library be ok with me taking calls though?

My skin isn’t dry though. But if no one else comments on this thread about the same thing then I imagine there’s nothing to worry about

I always recommend the Cozy Tea Cart, it’s online (NH based) but they have so many flavors and you can order them in nice tins!

I think every site expects you to have them now. They used to run this experiment demanding that people turn them off before going on their site... but that was a real traffic killer.

Even looking at 1953, supporting 1 side in an internal power struggle is pretty different from the North Korea/Cuba methods you are advocating against Iran. And if the Ayatollah thought he had a credible internal challenger the US could support, it would certainly push him to get a nuke as fast as possible.

Charlestown public library isn't too far from the monument.

No. It's very common to have dry skin during Winter. That's your itch.

Well the 50s one was, no? And the US could’ve ended 1979, but decided not to step in.

How are you reading the 1979 revolution as US pressure leading to the overthrow of the regime?

But it’s happened twice in Iran. First the early 50s and again in 1979?

It literally never has. Not in Cuba, not in North Korea etc. It just gives the regime an easy common enemy to blame for the suffering of their people and an excuse to engage in further repression.

It could also lead to the overthrow of the regime.

Cutting off all dialogue with Iran is a good way to encourage the Ayatollah to go all-in on a nuke. That path leads to Iran becoming North Korea of the Middle East: not a great outcome for the Iranians currently fighting for freedom.

I'm heading up to visit a friend for a bit and go ice climbing this weekend but have 2 days of work while I'm up there. Is there anywhere around bunker hill that's good to chill and work from? Looking mostly for quiet cafes since the co-working spaces seem more like long term rentals.
Friend wasn't helpful, he doesn't like coffee or quiet spaces.
