You can read my about, it's my hockey number not a Nazi thing. Don't accuse everyone you disagree with of being a Nazi it gets old.
And that's bs. As someone who's queer who works in a very conservative field that's how shit gets done, from the inside. Not from exclusion.

Small - 150 sq ft in a 800 sq ft condo, standard 8 ft ceilings. The existing run of cabinets needs a face lift (new doors, veneer, and hardware) but the bases and counters are fine. The appliances are fine for now, and I don’t need to move any plumbing. I want to redo floors and back splash, and add a peninsula, which will require a new branch off an existing electric circuit.

Im just gonna throw this out there - you need to be specific about how much demo, material tier, and general changes (plumbing?) that you are talking about in this remodel. If you are just upgrading fixtures/countertops, that is a much different thing than a gut remodel where you move plumbing/waterlines.
But, it will cost a shitload either way.

That's a great message for queer cops who want to change the system.

How big is your kitchen? I remodeled my kitchen, but it was mixed in with a lot of other costs so I don't have a specific figure. I would guess a bare bones remodel would go for $15000. I have a small kitchen and high ceilings - standard size cabinets weren't doing it for me and went with semi-custom cabinets to fit the room better.
I went with https://venegascompany.com/ for design.

I’d expect a lot of Lt. Jim Dangle look-a-likes to be on the scene…

Technically, I-90 in NY is "the Thruway" all the way from the Mass line to Buffalo. this side of Albany it's the "New England extension of the NYS Thruway." I-87 is also the Thruway down to NYC, and The Northway north of Albany. The L made by I-87 and I-90 and from NYC to Buffalo is all the Thruway and it's one continuous toll road. New Yorkers typically call it The Thruway instead of calling it I-90/I-87. No one calls it "The 90" or "The 87", though.

Biking is low key the fastest / most flexible way to get anywhere - especially if you factor in parking time. E bike makes it even easier / quicker

I have reached out to our acting landlord, but he has not gotten back to me yet. I requested police records should I take them to court. But what do I put one the forms if they move out before I go to the courthouse? I don’t know where they are moving to as we are no longer on speaking terms. Will the court hearing info be forwarded to their new addresses? I have already applied for two separate restraining orders against them, and since the judge threw out the case, they both agreed to move out. So I’m familiar with the legal system in Mass. I just don’t want to have to track down a pair of fugitives to get them to pay their share of the rent. They are not actively looking for subletters nor is our acting landlord, so they will still have to pay their share of the rent until new tenants have signed the lease. I told the police yesterday to remind them to contact our management company and then have them reach out to me about next steps. I want nothing more than to get rid of them, but they keep trying to initiate contact with me even though I make it very clear that I will not engage in the conversation. At this point asserting my boundaries is a moot point because neither one of them understands the concept of personal boundaries. I just have to keep sending them emails every day to remind them to contact the management company about their intended move. That’s all I can really do at this point other than ignoring them entirely.

I was once waiting for a CR train from Back Bay to South Station when an Amtrak NE Regional stopped. The conductor told me to just get on. Most comfortable trip between those two stations I've ever had.

In a parking garage in Revere, a long time ago. A young woman was driving a Pontiac (of course) around in circles while her (presumably) boyfriend was spread-eagled hanging on to the hood of the car. Her head with its enormous big hair was sticking out the driver's side window as she yelled at him. "Bahbbie, get off the caah! Get off the cah Bawbie!" Meanwhile she's not slowing down or stopping, and this guy's legs are sliding left and right as he holds on for dear life. No idea if Bobby ever got off the car, but I hope for his sake that he never got back into it.

I hope they're doing something. From what I was reading and viewing back in 2019 it just became a huge ass mess of groups playing struggle Olympics and making undefined arguments about inclusiveness. I lost it at the refusal of the gay police group. Yeah I realize Stonewall was a riot against police, if anything a gay police group should be celebrated and serve as a sign of how far we've come socially.

I grew up in Albany. It's at the intersection of 87 and 90, so having two roads called 'The Thruway' would've been confusing.
Northway as 87 was super common, but I feel like I heard it on morning traffic reports more often than I did when talking to people.
Thruway as 90 was way less common for me. Probably different if you live significantly outside of Albany.
