I’m a federal employee and the government pays for my pass.
Also the train I take the 8:09 from Mansfield, the conductor doesn’t check for tickets so you only pay on the way home.

Again a drive, but Savers in Nashua NH & Plaistow NH have sizeable toy sections. The Savers in Danvers seems to be overcrowded.

Eh, this one goes way beyond many of those maps. Something like Blue Line to Lynn realistically won't happen but it's arguably possible.
Green Line to Brockton would never happen, the distance is incredibly long for a light rail line (17 miles from the city center). But OP is fully admitting that it's extremely unrealistic.

I think the red line should branch at North Quincy to add a Long Island stop.

That’s like saying the solution to poverty is more money.
The problem is not stating the solution, it’s implementing the solution.

Dude, I'm just pulling your chain. The reality is that yes, all deaths are ok if they're offset by money or convenience. So Ads will continue. Sucks.
Have an upvote and a good one.

Thank you for the advertising 101. I also took marketing classes so I am well aware why companies spend money on advertisements.
Like you said, a similar argument can be made about advertising just about anything.

> No mention of violence prevention.
Bro, you need to work on your reading comprehension.
“Our police officers took nearly 900 guns off our streets and worked with community to achieve the lowest level of Part One, violent and property crime in 15 years. I want to thank Commissioner Michael Cox for coming home to Boston, Superintendent-in-Chief Greg Long for your service over 18 months as Acting Commissioner, and all our officers for your hard work.”
“We are looking to end community violence with new strategies to address trauma and provide essential supports—from our Youth Safety Task Force, to an alternative crisis response program with EMS and behavioral health services.”
> The only thing she said even remotely mentioning law enforcement was making sure everyone knew the race of the police commissioner she hired.
Not true, see here:
“The boy from Roxbury who wanted to serve and protect, who—against all odds, and over nearly three decades—rose through every level of leadership at the Boston Police Department, is now our Boston Police Commissioner: Michael Cox”
And here:
“As the rest of our city slept, Boston’s 311 and 911 call-takers answered phones throughout the night, to send services where needed, while emergency management crews, EMS, police, and fire stood ready.”

He's from Norwood and they said it was a targeted attack. Seems like there's a lot of information missing still to say what happened.

I never said that I said I think alcohol ads are in my opinion a bigger problem because of the addictive nature of alcohol. I am all for walkable cities and bike infrastructure.

The reason companies spend so much on advertising is because it works. By constantly bombarding us with ads for alcohol the alcohol conglomerates normalize alcohol at every occasion and make us associate alcohol with more and more activities in our lives. If you want to consume alcohol that is fine but I don't think being constantly bombarded with ads for it is good for society.
(A similar argument could be made for high sugar products, pharmaceuticals, etc etc)

You've posted this elsewhere in r/boston and as I pointed out to that comment since 1990 the number of bike lanes has increased dramatically while the number of homicides has plummeted. You are obviously ignoring the irrefutable correlation that additional bike lanes actually reduced homicides in the city of Boston.

Assembly, extremely overpriced and super commercialized, not to mention the traffic on weekends. I don’t know who would want to spend $4k per month on one of those “luxury apartments”. Only redeeming quality is access to the Orange Line and Encore (if that’s your thing).
