Pretty easy - one of the poorest countries in the world so they will work dirt cheap. I met a bunch of Filipino workers on Wake Island ages ago, they were some of the nicest guys too.

And almost entirely staffed by Philippinos for some reason, too. And not unique to these ships. Lots of Philippinos on cruise ships working behind the scenes. Never could figure out why.

Many Maine Coons identify as dogs and or babies.

Honestly seaport in general, pay for the overpriced beers at Cisco or trillium, take that stereotypical tourist photo on the harborwalk. Buy some mediocre quality seafood at barking crab.

If that was possible we would’ve have done that a century ago. There will never be another Boston anywhere.

Most of the cargo is loaded on in Japan. In Davisville and Boston they unload. Most of these auto ships that call on Boston seem to only sail east. Japan -> Panama Canal -> Carribbean and East Coast -> Davisville -> Cape Cod Canal -> Boston -> Suez Canal -> Japan. I'm not sure why the ships that call on Boston always seem to go the same direction. There's also a bunch of destinations, but I noticed they always unload in Davisville before unloading in Boston.

Can confirm I used to work these, 100% fact. Most people wouldn't give a shit about the whales by the time we got there due to the puke. We called the boat the vomit comet.

Or if they stopped using hardi cement siding, and used an actually good looking exterior like brick.
Also if the buildings weren’t so huge, like they could build two slightly smaller adjacent buildings instead of one monster

Easy. Start off at Gov't Center and walk down to the North End - this will take you through a couple great wind tunnels in the blistering cold. Have a late lunch/early dinner at La Famiglia Spagnuolo's. This way you're probably timing it so that your date is starving, and you're taking them to one of the lowest rated restaurants in the state to boot. Suggest the Aquarium as an after-meal activity, but then refuse to enter it and just look at the seals outside. Bonus points if you can get a water taxi to drive you around in the frigid wastes of the harbor afterwards.

I live in Mansfield in a 3 bed 1 bath ranch I bought for 450k last year, my commute is now shorter than when I lived in Boston (Hyde Park).
My commute is under an hour now- 5 min bike to commuter rail, 25 min express train, 15 min walk from south station to govt center

The one in Chelsea is there year round, and there is a second one at the Moran Terminal in Charlestown during the winter.

Hell yeah. I spend a lot of time in VT and I try to get to HF at least once a year. I agree that their offerings are incredible and the location is idyllic.
But I’m an unashamed TH addict. :P Now that it’s so handy to me, I’ve been trying all the non-DIPA styles and they’re all amazing. They’ve got like 75 offerings on the menu and they just keep coming. I can’t keep up!

So I suppose I should have clarified that maybe I was thinking more on the scale of people both from/in MA and people moving here with no context. I agree with you that anyone with a modicum of awareness from the greater Boston area knows that it isn't GoodwillhuntingLand anymore.

Better off playing PLO. Just like 6:5 Blackjack.. the writing is on the wall with poker. I reckon Encore is 5-8 years ahead of the industry’s time with the rake and promo drops.

Yup. I figured 20 bucks in rake is totally possible in 2 out of 60 hands...

Shop around. Different insurers price risk differently. Some insurers screw up and way underprice.
I am extremely low risk. 30s, 250/500 personal injury/uninsured/underinsured, $250k physical property. $240 premium for a 6 month period. I have had other reputable insurers quote $900 for that same coverage
