Hard agree. Did this with a friend awhile back on one of those gorgeous 60 degree fall days. We didn't feel the need to pay for a guided tour, we just walked the various sites at our own pace. Bonus points for the fact that we did this on a weekday (she came up for a long weekend) and there was NO line at Mike's. I was introduced to the Boston area by someone who tended to avoid the touristy areas, which is all well and good, and some of those off-the-beaten-path areas are now among my favorite places, but sometimes it's really fun to be a total stereotypical tourist for a day.

As opposed to what? telling those people to move or live 2 hours from their work?

I'm from Colorado, and the most Jewish deli my Jewish family went to had all sorts of combinations of cheese and meat, despite the pairing not being kosher. They would give kids Bazooka Joe bubble gum when leaving where the wrapper and cartoons were written in Hebrew.

Really? Thai? I've been mostly EH on all the Thai places I've been to, except one on Boylston Street that closed.

This is literally economics 101. Increase in supply leads to lower prices

I went here a week or so ago and got the chicken enchiladas. I was massively disappointed, and now I'm wondering if I'm going crazy, or just hit a really bad time to visit. There was absolutely no sauce or cheese, and they drenched it in wilted shreds of iceberg lettuce and sour cream. I had heard about it on reddit before and was looking forward to it. I guess I'll give it another shot..

Not if you insist on paying an unnecessary middleman. I own and rent a condo in another market with much lower demand than Boston and would never even think that a broker is necessary for tenant acquisition.

Weird. I took a sommelier friend from Napa to Rebel Rebel and he loved the staff there. We went in for a glass and ended up staying for a few bottles.

Went to the Mapparium for the first time this past weekend and it was much cooler than I expected.

I finally realized the NIMBYs will also fight their home increasing in value, because then they have to pay more in taxes when their appraisal goes up. There is no winning with them.

It's been studied and shown to be the case.
The issue is the built up demand is so significant it will take ages to stabilize.

Again, that's "Jewish style" aka bullshit. It's not really how this stuff was made the traditional way.
Do you think they serve the slop we call Chinese food in China? No.
