Excuse me there tourist, you must not be familiar with the port city of Boston. Nobody here says Beantown. Please enjoy this documentary about our diverse aquatic life.

So it's still 60k AND it's the same kind of trafficking tactics the guy in the OP is using.
You're kind of proving the opposite of what you're trying to prove.

The place is already super popular and doesn't need to jack up the prices for profit. They have only rarely raised prices on existing products, and they explicitly called it out due to an increase in hop costs each time.
They know they can make enough money limiting you to 3 $8 drinks, and would rather make sure the experience is perfect rather than profits be absurd

LOL...we've lived our entire lives in the upper midwest (Wisconsin and Minnesota) so are very familiar with the cold (actually you guys get warmer weather than we do, at least in the winter). Main reason we're looking out east is we have family in New Hampshire (but we prefer to be closer to a larger city). Like I said, not that we're wanting to stay directly in Boston, but more the towns north of there.
I've been scouting on Apartments.com and can find quite a few places in the $3500 range, some with and without a pool (although that's not as big of a deal)...

Charlton traffic in that section of Route 20 is going to be a shit-show when the Amazon fortress is completed.

Yeah most bigger buildings you can at least escape broker fee. But usually that means it’s more expensive rent than going to a random floor of a triple decker. Either way someone finds a way to get your money lol

Just go into the unsafe areas. Roxbury, Dorchester, and Mattapan.... Rent is cheaper.

I think you should be looking at moving to somewhere like Austin if you want all those amenities for $3k/month lol. Boston is small and we get like 2 months of “pool” weather a year. Our big apartment complexes might have 1-2 grills for communal use. I don’t know anywhere for $3k/month with a pool or hot tub lol. Maybe I’m just a pleb though

Malden. There are some newer buildings in/near Malden center that could fit the bill. A friend of mine lived in the J building and loved it.

so you're saying instead of investigating a local sex scandal a local paper should be investigating documents about offshore money laundering from mostly foreign people?
You're one of those dumbfucks who screams about the Panama Papers not knowing they have almost nothing to do with Americans.
Brb gonna make a thread asking why the Weston Middle School paper isn't doing enough to investigate George Santos

Normally I'd say this us good idea and I'm doing it myself. But the red line is getting down right unusable past South station ... Everything is a slow zone and there's no communication on when/if this will be addressed

…yet you’ve never heard of Treehouse? They’ve got 6 of the top 25 beers on BeerAdvocate and rated #1 brewery on Untappd. Yes, you definitely should check them out! Charlton is the mothership, but Tewksbury is coming along and will be more accessible to Boston.

I used to drive out to Charlton every month or two. Now I live 5 min away (from the Tewksbury location) and go every week. I guess I’m using less gas, at least?

So the husband job now is to protect the kids from his wife? If that's the case she should have been locked up. You really seem to be putting this on him, and it's not. She did the evil thing, not him. I'm sure he's going to think about it the rest of his life, but there's really nothing he could have done to prevent it. Is he supposed to lock her in her room while he takes a shower? Make her come into the bathroom and sit there when he takes a shit?

I've lived in and around Boston for 30 years, and I've never heard anyone other than tourists and visitors call it Beantown.
