Scullers.
Mad monkfish.
Oak bar on certain nights.
Lilypad.
Darryls corner.
There are others but that will get you started. Unfortunately the pandemic and just changing times have led to the closure of some of the other great spots we used to have.

Go go the bebop on Saturday nights for their open jazz jam sessions. It’s right around the corner from berklee and all the kids are unbelievably talented

Some douche was wheelie-ing down Seaport Blvd. on some loud ass quad bike, kicking up exhaust and being obnoxious as hell. I only come round every few months, is this kinda thing regular?

My sister, the one more in West Roxbury, grew up in Florida. She went to college in Florida. Then she decided on Cornell, in upstate NY, for grad school.

I'd rather intense cold than a blizzard that grounds flights.

It's been extremely disheartening seeing so many camped put in doorways of vacant storefronts these past few years. It feels like the humanity is being ripped out from society bit by bit. Obviously, many are too mentally ill or physically addicted for proper reintegration. But the majority are just stuck in the poverty cycle.
However, there needs to be a huge change and we need to demand and cultivate a better society.

Wally's wasnt too much of a shocker plus its a tiny space. The bartender there was really rude, I think band was in the intermission when I walked in around 8 pm and I asked him what time they play. He vaguely answers 5 as if its next day at 5 am or something that they will begin playing. I think he meant they have been playing since 5 pm but don't know why he couldn't have just answered with yes they are playing but in intermission currently 🤦♂️

The US has an incarceration rate 3x that of Singapore. We're already more draconian than your example.

Interestingly, I went to the place that was there before treehouse bought it probably a month or two before they sold it for a funeral celebration of life after the service. Now it’s a treehouse with golf!

I mean, Wally’s is basically on the NEU campus and has always been popular with students.
