I remember that. I was in the city, so we hardly ever stayed home. We never got that 2 hour delay either

Which policy or provider do you use now, if you don't mind sharing? Thanks for your reply.

I’m guessing he’s probably referring to the small region inside Cockeysville named ‘Texas.’ It’s right across the street from the stone quarry near where Padonia and Beaver Dam roads meet. It has a Sam’s Club and a Lowe’s and that’s pretty much it.

I mean, my people got off the boat in Locust Point, walked about 8-10 blocks, and just stayed! But certainly extremely strange lol.

I always jealously fumed at the weird named private schools who seemingly always got off. I think like god damn "Goddard School" and something "Day School" and "School for the Blind". I also got mad at NIST and NASA. They always got off before me too.

Yeah that sounds like bad luck. My two delays were 1) Somehow the electric engine they insert at Penn Station got messed up. And 2) Someone was unfortunately killed on the track by the train ahead of ours.

My wife says melk. We both grew up in Frederick and have been in bmore for about 10 years. I think she’s always said it that way though, so maybe a Maryland thing?

They’re auctioning off some of the originals if you feel like dropping nearly $10k on a rock with googly eyes. https://a24auctions.com/auctions/mementos-multiverse/rockverse-rock

Oh I 100% agree. He kept asking other people in stopped traffic and I can guarantee that there are one or two people gullible enough to just hand over their phone to a random person.
I was on my lunch break in Times Square in like 2014 and a German family came up to me out of nowhere on the street. The Mother handed me her phone with one of those cases where they had their credit cards and other things in a pocket and asked me if I knew the number for a cab to Rockefeller Center.
I was dumbfounded. Just gave me an $800 iPhone with zero hesitation. Those folks are definitely out there.

Delaware and lots of Philly have this pronunciation too. I also often hear pellow instead of pillow. It’s regional for sure
