Hey! I used to live in that building, moved out in August. Can you try pushing back on parking and see what they say? I paid $50/month for parking. I may have been grandfathered in to a lower rate b/c I moved in 5 years ago, but $150 seems crazy given that the garage is not secure (several residents have has cars broken into in the garage) and is super dirty. They lost a ton of long-time tenants (like me!) under the last management company so they may be willing to negotiate with you. You might also consider reaching out to current residents to see what they pay/if they’ve negotiated; there’s a Facebook group (the new 2022 one) that’s pretty active.

Ugh, friggin soulless management companies. Which one? You can def find a better value, but not sure what you’re open to.

As someone who was recently priced out of my longtime home, I can sympathize.

Sounds like she was pretty blindsided by it, considering she said she's been cooperating. My guess is she'll have to testify against him when this goes to trial (assuming he doesn't plea out or start rolling on other shit he might know). Honestly think McCollum was just a piece of shit who took advantage of people's loyalty. I'd love to hear him explain why he thought this was acceptable and why he thought he could get away with it.

Thank you. We are already connected with the Fransciscan center,and Healthcare for The Homeless. Weinberg on Fallsway is at capacity we check for beds there and anywhere in Baltimore City daily through MOHS which all are unfortunately at capacity. We are also in the coordinated access system for long term housing placement. Our caseworker says it shouldn’t be much longer especially after my wife last health crisis. It is also extremely difficult to get us into a shelter together and with her health issues I do not feel comfortable leaving her. We usually get by through the month but due to these scammers and fraudsters they took everything we had left for the month.
