This harness has been a game changer for us. My boys have used several different harnesses, martingales, prongs, gentle leaders - this is the only thing that stopped them in their tracks. Our walks got SO much better when we started using it.

I'd say Catonsville is a nice area. Not too far from the city. Have u looked at areas like Towson, Parkville, Woodlawn, etc?

My wife cried when we found out we were moving here but now we're both sad to leave.

Danke, I will take a look!
I've noticed that both MARC and light rail stations seem to be either A) somewhere I don't want to live or B) Somewhere I can't afford to live.

Pop culture and me get along like a house and a thing houses don't like very much.
Never seen it.

If you actually want help then that was a very stupid idea.

Saturday evening, probably around 7.
I used to live in that area and I usually had luck parking close if I got home by 6.
If it’s near metered spots like on light and Charles you should have a lot more luck. Those are all free after 8 pm and are much more available than the spots on fort.
Most sane people who live in that area understand you aren’t going to be right in front of your house every day though

That’s super helpful info. Do you remember what time/day you were there and had to circle?
Classes would most likely begin at 6 pm ish so if that’s a bad time for parking it wouldn’t be ideal

Okay so that's not SUPER helpful, perhaps my headline was a little TOO inflammatory.
Sounds like you're at least vaguely familiar with the area. You know what Ohio City is looking like these days? Know anywhere similar to it in Baltimore?
I'm from the wrong side of Maryland to know anything about neighborhoods there and haven't lived in the state for years so recommendations would be appreciated.

Patisserie Poupon, hands down - they've been in town for ages and they might be the best bakery overall in town.

That’s a really tough spot for parking - just a personal anecdote but I was trying to go to a bar over there a month ago and after circling the block 5-6 times I ended up leaving since I couldn’t find parking. I believe a lot of that area is not part of RPP permitting areas so it is fair game for anyone. But it’s mostly residential so very little turnover after 6 pm

mt vernon is a lovely place to stay... if i didn't love my spot in hampden, i would def live in mt vernon. and there's lots of great restaurants around! the peabody library is beautiful, too, and just around the corner from walters.
that will be a beautiful time of year, too! hope you have fun!

Sure, we'd all like to flee to the Cleve and club-hop down at the Flats and have lunch with Little Richard, but we fight those urges. At least Baltimore has an Ikea.

Extremely walkable. Free circulator buses running up Charles and down St. Paul (offering access to Charles Village, Station North, Downtown, and Fed Hill). Unless you're seriously in a pinch you can either walk or take transit to where you're going. City buses also are nice and plentiful and are just $2 for 90-mins of use when you use the CharmPass app.

Restaurant? Petit Louis. Bakery/Patisserie? Sacre Sucre. Either way, likely not, unless you get a lucky break due to it being near Mardi Gras.

Mount Vernon seems like this to me? You can light rail to the airport, it's super easy to get to Fells, downtown, Fed hill, Hampden. There are some bigger buildings although Baltimore's downtown skyscrapers are gorgeous so that should hardly be a negative. And Mt Vernon itself is beautiful: old mansions and churches, the Washington monument etc.
The only downside is that it just has that one grocery store which seems... ok-ish? You have Streets in downtown not too far away and a Safeway just a bit north. And sure, you can buy houses for 360k in Baltimore.
