I lived next to Ottobar for 2 years. I am well aware that area is perfectly fine. I was merely commenting on the other persons comment, “that area is not rough, that’s a strange thing for someone to say”. For someone who doesn’t know the area, how is that strange to assume a place in Baltimore might be rough.

Ours is typically only leash reactive and sometimes reactive when there’s a chain link fence/fence she can see out of. We take her to doggy daycare and she does well with other dogs when she’s off leash. Sometimes she gets overstimulated so the daycare staff know her signals and know to pull her out and give her some alone time. It’s a kennel free doggy daycare so they are never in cages, even overnight for boarding. We usually just have to coordinate with staff for drop off and pick up since she’s on leash for that part. Our daycare likely wouldn’t work for a dog who is reactive off leash

Damn. Any chance you can negotiate with them? It is not like you have a choice.
If not, you can always right back to jury duty and tell them you cannot come due to this.

False. You serve a day in the pool or for one trial, regardless how many days that takes, then you’re off the hook for a year.
I’ve had a summons that was to soon. Called the court and they sorted things out.
Edit: clarification one day/one trial

Still can't believe the slap on the wrist he got for the 2019 kiddy porn charges.

Put it this way: I live within walking distance of Ottobar, and definitely have been to places that feel uncomfortable. Ottobar and the immediate area isn't one of them.

Okay, that is baller. Yeah, in that case I too would be trying to get jury duty all the time.

Edited for clarity, but my employer pays me my normal wage which should absolutely be the law.

Have you found a good daycare for reactive dogs? We have a no-touch kennel for if/when we go out of town but haven't found a place for when we are in a pinch and our scaredy-cat dog would benefit from a daycare situation when we are gone for work for the day.

His/Her employer pays them for the day. I'm sure they don't care about the $15.

Pretty wild how that the crazy shithead of a dad was able to get custody of the kids. Hope that the judge who made that decision feels bad.

Baltimore City jury duty tips.
- Keep your paperwork even after you are done jury duty. They will probably try to make you come back before they are allowed to call you back and you'll need this paperwork to shut that down.
- Delay for as long as possible. Keep calling them and have them reschedule it. The longer you can push it out, the longer you can extend the window which they can call you back.

When this happened to me (received a summons eleven days after jury duty!), I called and they were able to determine that I was on the list twice - once from my driver's license, and once from my voter registration.
